One issue I have always had with my car is what to do with my phone. Where to put it where it is easy access, and where I can actually see the screen without holding the phone. This little phone mount is the perfect answer. I have tried window mounts before, but suction cups usually don’t stay on the windshield very well. I was a little skeptical when this said it is a magnetic suction. I didn’t know what that meant, so I took a chance. I am glad I did.

I tested this device out at first on my desk in my office. It stuck too well. It took me a bit to get it off my desk. That was good news for mounting in my car. I brought this to my car and found a nice flat spot on my center console. Mounted and seems to be very secure. Put the metal ring on the back of my phone, and the magnetic mount with the phone is a nice sturdy connection. I was surprised that even while driving around my phone does not wobble or bounce around. This phone mount is very secure and has a tight connection. When NOT driving, I can easily view my phone and swipe around doing things and it is perfect access and viewing angle. The mount is very customizable for the angle you want.

So far taking the phone off the mount and doing various tasks this mount has performed great. It doesn’t come off, and my phone has stayed secure. Even while driving he phone does not vibrate around. Sometimes when trying to pull the phone off it is such a strong magnet that it messed up the angle of the mount since the phone didn’t disconnect. I found I needed to twist the phone away from me to get it to pop off the mount without moving the position of the mount.

I am still getting used to it, but so far very happy with how this mount is working for my phone. Just for reference, I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6. I installed the metal ring on the lower part of the phone. I need to see how the phone mount performs when the car is cold or hot, but I am optimistic this will not impact the phone mount.
