    Today I put some veggies potato, Brocoli, carrot, tomato and onion in this vessel to char. Within 40 minutes it came out completely charred and have a nice smokey flavour. Pan was clear and has no burning spot. I am satisfied with this purchase and worth my penny. Now I will try baking option. It is not so cumbersome and has a decent look. Since it is a heavy cast iron material, it should be handled with care and greese this pan with oil after every wash. It will keep in good stead.
