    I got this for quick and ‘small’ use (to crush ginger for my morning tea) as my main cutting boards are large and heavy. Turned out to be larger than I needed, which is still fine as it is light and easy to use and store. I was pleasantly surprised that the green colour was a pleasant one and not the super bright one shown and so I don’t have to hide it :). It does slide on my highly polished granite countertop as do my larger heavier ones as well; so, if one put a sponge cloth or towel or wet kitchen paper towel underneath it should work nicely for cutting fruit or vegetables. Nicely made (could pass for a Joseph & Joseph product) and material should wear well on knives and in the board — if people know how to use them sharp and swift. I findthat it is the techniques of cutting and poor quality or blunt knives that usually chip out plastic and destroy the knives. Haven’t used this board long enough to comment on staining but given its lightly textured finish, it should wash out well by hand and maybe in the upper rack of a dishwasher in normal or eco wash ie 50C, without bending. Given 4 stars as I haven’t put it to full test through use.
