WHAT’S IN THE BOX: The small tripod.
REVIEW: Everyone needs a small tripod. Whether you use it for your phone, a camera, a mic or a light, these little guys are invaluable because they take up very little space. With that said, they aren’t for large or heavy accessories. But they work great for cell phones and small lights.
The tripod is very stable when fully deployed (legs fully extended.) On occasion you may want to use the legs in a more erect fashion to take up less room on your desk or to make whatever you have a little taller. When you do this, the tripod is not nearly as stable. Meaning, it’s not using the rubber feet so the hard plastic will just slide on a hard surface. If you need to do this, maybe use a mouse pad to get a little traction.
It doesn’t come with a tripod head, so you can put whatever you need on there. I see this as a benefit.

VALUE/VERDICT: If you do video work or photography or maybe vlogging or just like video calls, then a small tripod is something you’ll want. This is a good start and a decent price for a small tripod.
For the price and the convenient size, this is a 4-star tripod. If you set those two categories aside, I’d probably give it 2 or maybe 3 stars.
It doesn’t come with any sort of attachment for holding your phone or DSLR camera, but you can find any number of affordable attachments that utilize a universal 1/4” mount and screw them onto this tripod. Personally, I chose an aluminum MagSafe attachment that works very well for my purposes.
This tripod is compact, coming in at under 6 inches in its collapsed form. It does not offer any sort of height adjustment features, which you could possibly remedy (within reason) with whatever type of mount you choose to attach to it but you will be limited regardless. The plastic is super lightweight and does indeed feel cheap, at least to me. But that’s what you’re going to get if you spend this amount of money on a tripod. Even though the plastic does not feel substantial, I think, ultimately, it’s perfectly fine if you just want to use this to prop your phone on your desk, or countertop, or a picnic table or any flat surface to get a steady photo or video. I think it works beautifully if you want to stream live video from your workbench or somewhere similar. I would not trust this out in the wild, though, and especially not on uneven or bumpy surfaces. You would want something with more adjustability options and made of a more robust material for those cases.
The base is super light, which does help with portability. You really don’t even notice the weight of it in your bag or even in your pocket. On the other hand, it’s lightweight nature does not provide any sort of counterbalance function and will lead to your phone or camera toppling over on any slanted or noticeably uneven surface. On flat surfaces, however, this thing works quite well. The little rubberized pads underneath each leg helps it not slip when accidentally bumped.
I do wish the legs had a slight texture to them rather than being smooth. Not really important but I think it would be a nice addition. I also wish the legs snapped into the closed position. When it jostles around in your backpack, the tip of each leg can have a tendency to grab onto nearby things like a netted pocket and open itself. Not a big deal but a slight annoyance at times.
I spent all this time complaining but to be honest, I do like this little tripod and it performs quite well for my uses. Do I think it’s the best compact tripod on the market? Not by a long shot. But it is a wonderful little cheap option to slip in a bag on the go or perfect for a little desktop streaming solution.
I ordered this Universal Tripod Table Mount specifically for one of my tube lights, and it worked perfectly. The table mount stand is made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), a versatile thermoplastic polymer known for its strength and durability, and it feels solid. I appreciate that it keeps my light straight and firm. I also want to mention that this table mount stand works great for gimbals as well. If your gimbal didn't include one, this is a great, affordable, and good-quality option to consider.
