Received the package torn and open. The pan inside had a huge crack across the height of the wall and the base had separated, rendering it completely useless, initiated a return. Do not purchase

    This is an amazing grilled pan, perfect for grilling fish, chicken, meats and vegetables. The thickness is perfect such that it retains heat, do note that it may take slightly longer to reach temperature but then it holds the temperature well. Naturally since this is a cast iron grill it will be heavy.
    It comes preseasoned, nevertheless I would recommend that you season it a few more times before using it. There are some reviewers here saying it's rusting after a couple of uses, of course it will rust if you don't season it properly. The photos they've uploaded showing the rust also shows an unseasoned pan. It's a cast iron grill pan, YOU HAVE TO SEASON IT ELSE IT WILL RUST!
    Maintain it well and it will last a long time!

    The pan came preseasoned but I cleaned the pan and did my own seasoning.
    Pan is heavy and takes time to become really hot but once the pan reaches the required temp the food doesn't stick to the pan.
    Clean the pan need to be cleaned without soap and needs to be reseasoned at adequate intervals to prevent rust.
